Zach Juusola out of Friday’s RFA 35, David Castillo will now meet Thiago Moises for vacant lightweight title

An undisclosed injury has forced Zach Juusola to pull out of Friday’s RFA 35 main event vacant title fight and stepping up to face David Castillo for the lightweight title will be Thiago Moises.

The fight change was announced by RFA President Ed Soares in a press release on Tuesday.

“Thiago Moisés vs. David Castillo is the new lightweight title fight in the main event of RFA 35 on Friday,” Ed Soares said. “Moisés has been elevated from co-main event after Zach Juusola withdrew due to injury. Thiago Alves is also stepping up on short notice once again. He will fight David Putvin in the co-main event.”

RFA 35 will come from the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah and the current fight card is below.
