Bellator signs Wanderlei Silva to an exclusive multi-year, multi-fight contract

Wanderlei Silva has decided to end his retirement and has signed an exclusive multi-year, multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA.

The signing of Silva was announced in a press release on Wednesday.

Silva (35-12-1, 1NC) is currently under suspension with the Nevada Athletic Commission until May of 2017 due to the fighter failing to submit to a drug test prior to a scheduled bout in the UFC against Chael Sonnen. Prior to his exit from the UFC, he had alternated wins and losses in his in his last six fights and his last fight came in March of 2013 as he defeated Brian Stann by knockout.
