Current Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino will make her UFC debut on May 14 at UFC 198 in Brazil as she will meet Leslie Smith in a 140 pound catchweight bout.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC 198 will take place on May 14 at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil and will be headlined by a title fight as Fabricio Werdum defends the heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic.
Justino (15-1, 1NC) is unbeaten since losing her professional debut in 2005 and is coming off a knockout victory at Invicta FC 15 against Daria Ibragimova. Thirteen of her fifteen wins have come by TKO/KO and eight of those wins have come in the first round. Smith (8-6-1) has won two of her last three fights and is coming off a decision win at UFC Fight Night 85 against Rin Nakai. She is 5-4 in her last nine fights and has gone 2-2 in the UFC.
