Brian Ortega vs. Clay Guida set for UFC 199

A featherweight bout has been booked for UFC 199 on June 4 in California as Brian Ortega will meet Clay Guida on the preliminary card.

The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday evening.

UFC 199 will come from The Forum in Inglewood, California on June 4 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Luke Rockhold defends the UFC middleweight title against former UFC champion Chris Weidman.

Ortega (10-0, 1NC) is coming a triangle choke submission win at UFC 195 against Diego Brandao and both of his victories in the UFC have come by stoppage. Five of his ten wins have come by submission and four of them have come by triangle choke. Guida (32-16) has alternated wins and losses since dropping to to featherweight. He is coming off a submission lost against Thiago Tavares in November and his last win came in April of last year against Robbie Peralta.
