A women’s strawweight bout has been added to the UFC on FOX 20 lineup on July 23 in Chicago as Ultimate Fighter 20 alum Felice Herrig will meet Kailin Curran.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Thursday.
UFC on FOX 20 will come from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois and ticket information is expected to be announced shortly by the UFC.
Herrig (10-6) has gone 1-1 in the UFC since entering the promotion through the UFC reality show and is coming off a decision lost against Paige VanZant in April of last year. She has won five of her last seven fights and four of those wins have come by decision. Curran (4-2) is coming off a win in December against Emily Kagan and the defeat snapped a two fight losing streak. Her submission win over Kagan was the first stoppage victory of her career and it was the first time she did not make it to the third round in a pro fight.
