Jessica Andrade will make UFC strawweight debut against Jessica Penne at UFC 199

After a run in the UFC women’s bantamweight division, Brazilian Jessica Andrade is dropping down to strawweight and will meet former UFC title challenger Jessica Penne at UFC 199.

The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.

UFC 199 will come from The Forum in Inglewood, California on June 4 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Luke Rockhold defends the UFC middleweight title against former UFC champion Chris Weidman.

Andrade (13-5) made her UFC debut in 2013 and has gone 4-3 in the promotion. Her most recent fight came in September at UFC 191 as she was submitted by Raquel Pennington. Penne (12-3) will also enter this fight following a defeat as she lost to current UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk last year.
