Ratings Report: UFC Fight Night 86 draws 781k viewers, peaks at 1 million during main event

UFC Fight Night 86 took place this Sunday at the Zagreb Arena in Zagreb, Croatia and was headlined by former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos defeating Ben Rothwell by unanimous decision.

According to FS1, the main card broadcast on FS1 had an average live audience of 781,000 viewers and the peak viewership for the event was 1,000,000 viewers (4:45-5:00 p.m. ET).

Sunday’s FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT coverage led FS1 to the top spot in viewership among all cable sports networks between 12:00-5:30PM and #1 in viewership and A18-49 among all cable sports networks during the UFC Fight Night main card telecast between 2:00-5:30PM.

The FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT main card headlined by Junior Dos Santos’s decision victory over Ben Rothwell scored 781,000 viewers and 424,000 in the Adults 18-49 demo, more than doubling last April’s Saturday afternoon Fight Night in both metrics (389,000 viewers and 203,000 A18-49). It is now the most-watched daytime Fight Night of the four on FS1 to date in both metrics. The show peaked with 1-million viewers between 4:45-5:00 PM ET.

At noon the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS from Zagreb, Croatia posted gains of 46% on viewership (443,000 vs. 304,000) and 21% among A18-49 (235,000 vs. 195,000) compared to last April’s Saturday 11am prelim card. This was the most-watched daytime prelim card on FS1 to date in both metrics.

The FS1 Prefight show on FS1 did 119,000 viewers from 11:30am – Noon ET.

The FS1 UFC Fight Night Postfight Show had 310,000 viewers from 5:20 – 6:20pm ET.

The FS1 UFC Weigh Ins posted 109,000 viewers, more than tripling the number from last April’s daytime fights.
