Ratings Report: UFC on FOX 19 televised prelims drew 1.4 million, main card peaked at 2.8 million

UFC on FOX 19 took place this past weekend at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and was headlined by Glover Teixeira defeating former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans by knockout in the opening round.

According to Nielsen sources, the UFC on FOX 19 main card drew 1.4/3 and 2.5 million viewers in the final ratings, and the peak viewership of the broadcast was 2.8 million viewers during the main event. The final numbers for Saturday’s main card viewership are slightly down from last year’s April UFC on FOX card (1.5/3 and 2.7 million viewers).

Prior to the main card on FOX, the televised preliminary card also aired on FOX and that portion of the event did a 0.9/2 and 1.4 million viewers. This viewership for the UFC on FOX 19 televised preliminary card is up 13 percent better than last year’s April UFC on FOX event with a 0.8/2 and even with 1.4 million.

The UFC will be returning to FOX Sports this weekend for coverage of UFC 197: Jones vs. Saint Preux as the televised preliminary card will air on FS1 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on FS1.
