Valor Fights 32: Damir Ferhatbegovic explains the changes he made in training camp heading into second pro fight

“The Bosnian Barncat” Damir Ferhatbegovic will have his second professional fight next Friday night at Valor Fights 32 in Knoxville, Tennessee when he meets Robert Covington IV in a lightweight bout in the event coming from the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.

Ferhatbegovic (1-0) won his pro debut in February with a decision victory over Lamar Brown at Valor Fights 31 and he was a guest on yesterday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” to preview his fight against Covington IV. During his appearance on the show, Ferhatbegovic talked about his fight next week and explained the changes he made in this training camp.

“The second training camp, practicing skill wise is different just because it’s a different opponent,” Ferhatbegovic said. “He has different things that he is going to do. We have to train for that. Conditioning wise, we did pretty much change the entire conditioning where I am doing a lot more adversity exercises throughout the camp. I am including biking, swimming, weight lifting and all of that, which I did not do before. So I feel like this time, I am going to be a lot more prepared conditioning wise. Mostly, I won’t fade in the third like I did last time.”
