Next week’s Valor Fights 32 has a new main event as Adam Townsend has pulled out of the event due to undisclosed reasons and stepping up on short notice to face Steven New in Knoxville, Tennessee will be Nick Gehrts.
The fight change was announced by Valor Fights earlier this week.
Valor Fights 32 will take place next Friday night, April 29 from the Knoxville Civic Coliseum and the event will be available via an internet pay-per-view stream on Flo Combat.
Gehrts (5-2) is coming off a win against Steven Haag at Valor Fights 30 by split decision and he has won three of his last four fights. Six of his seven fights have gone the distance and his only career victory by stoppage came by knockout against Augusta Tindall at Valor Fights 22. New (5-1) is currently on a four fight winning streak and his last win came in September against Dustin Walden at Valor Fights 26. He defeated Walden by submission and four of his five wins have come by submission.
