Alan Jouban vs. Nordine Taleb among additions to UFC Fight Night 90

Several fights have been announced for UFC Fight Night 90 on July 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada including a welterweight bout between Alan Jouban and Nordine Taleb.

The fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Monday and the other new fights added to the fight card are John Makdessi vs. Mehdi Baghdad, Reginaldo Vieira vs. Marco Beltran, Mike Pyle vs. Alberto Mina, Alvaro Herrera vs. Vicente Luque and Gilbert Burns vs. Lukasz Sajewski.

UFC Fight Night 90 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by a title fight as Rafael dos Anjos defends the lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez.

Jouban (13-4) is coming off a TKO win against Brendan O’Reilly at UFC Fight Night 85 and he has won three of his last four fights. Ten of his thirteen wins have come by stoppage and nine of those victories have come by TKO/KO. Taleb (12-3) will also enter this fight following a victory as he defeated Erick Silva by knockout at UFC 196. He is 4-1 in his last five fights and three of those wins have come by decision.
