A flyweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 89 card in Ottawa on June 18 as Ali Bagautinov will meet Geane Herrera.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 89 will come from The Arena at TD Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and the event will be headlined by a welterweight bout as former UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald meets Stephen Thompson.
Bagautinov (13-4) has dropped back to back fights and those defeats came against current UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and number one title contender Joseph Benavidez. His last win came at the beginning of 2014 as he defeated John Lineker at UFC 169. Herrera (9-1) was signed by the UFC last year and is coming off a TKO win against Joby Sanchez. Seven of his nine wins have come by stoppage and five of those victories have come by submission.
