A bantamweight bout has been added to the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night 90 as Felipe Arantes will meet Jerrod Sanders on the July 7 fight card coming from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC recently.
UFC Fight Night 90 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by a title fight as Rafael dos Anjos defends the lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez.
Arantes (17-7-1, 2NC) dropped down to the bantamweight division last year and defeated Yves Jabouin by submission at UFC Fight Night 74. He is 4-3-1 in the UFC and will be looking for back to back wins for the first time since 2010. Sanders (15-2, 1NC) will also enter this fight following a victory as he scored a decision victory over Russell Doane at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. The victory over Doane was his first win in the UFC as he went 0-1, 1NC in his previous two UFC fights.
