A women’s flyweight bout has been added to the Bellator 157: Dynamite 2 fight card on June 24 in St. Louis, Missouri as Ilima-Lei MacFarlane will meet Rebecca Ruth.
The fight booking was announced by Bellator on Friday evening during the Bellator 155 main card broadcast on Spike.
Bellator 157: Dynamite 2 will come from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and will be headlined by a catchweight bout of 215 pounds as Quinton “Rampage” Jackson returns to the promotion to meet Satoshi Ishii.
MacFarlane (3-0) is coming off a submission win at Bellator 148 against Amber Tackett and two of her three professional wins have come in Bellator. Two of her three wins have come by stoppage and both of those victories came in the opening round. Ruth (6-1) won her Bellator debut in February against Lena Ovchynnikova and she is currently on a four fight winning streak. Five of her six wins have come by TKO/KO and three of those wins have come in the first round.
