Marquis Brewster set to make his pro debut at CES MMA 36 against Vladimir Kazbekov

Following his amateur win at CES MMA 35, Marquis Brewster will make his pro debut on June 10 in Lincoln, Rhode Island as he will meet Vladimir Kazbekov.

The fight booking was announced by CES MMA on Thursday in a press release and along with this fight booking, the promotion also announced that James Murrin and Tom English will meet in a featherweight bout on the CES MMA 36 fight card.

CES MMA 36 will come from the Twin River Casino and will be headlined by a title fight as Luis Felix defends the lightweight title against Ryan Sanders.

Brewster was awarded a pro contract with CES MMA following his win at CES MMA 35 against Carmelo Dominguez. As an amateur, he went 6-1 and two of those wins came by stoppage. Kazbekov (1-1) opened his pro career with a submission win against Jeff Mack in October and he enters this fight following a submission lost against Tony Gravely at Global Proving Ground 22.

“I’m ecstatic. I’ve put in years of work and now it’s time to showcase my talents on the pro level. I know it’s not going to be easy by any means, but this is what you do it for,” Brewster said. “You do it to test yourself against the best possible guys.”

Luis Felix (14-9) vs. Ryan Sanders (10-7)
Marquis Brewster (0-0) vs. Vladimir Kazbekov (1-1)
