Shamrock FC Aftershock: Dustin Kramer is expecting a good challenge next weekend against Dillon Tolbert

The co-main event of Shamrock FC: Aftershock will be a flyweight bout as Dustin Kramer looks for his second straight win as he meets Dillon Tolbert on the fight card coming from the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kramer (3-1) is coming off a submission win against Issac Badger at Shamrock FC: Assault in January and all of his victories have come by stoppage. During this past Thursday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Kramer was a guest on the show to preview the fight and stated that he is expecting a good challenge from his opponent due to his style of fighting.

“I feel like I don’t have a ton of information about Dillon,” Kramer said. “I don’t want to sound like the encyclopedia of Dillon Tolbert or anything like that. What I have seen of him and what I am getting is that he is a strong wrestler. Real big background in the grappling side of things. I feel like growing up as an martial artist in the midwest, everybody is a wrestler around here so really nothing new from that side of things.”

“I feel like he has some good hands on him. He’s got some power,” he continued. “I feel like he is one of the more well-rounded fighters I have faced, especially at the professional level. At the amateur level, I faced a couple of guys like that. At this level, I think he brings that well-roundness to him. That should test me in all areas. I feel that I am a well-rounded fighter and I feel like my completeness as a fighter has been a strong thing in my direction. I think he will test me on that and not only is he a good wrestler, I think his jiu-jitsu game is at a high level. It will be a good challenge.”
