Andrei Arlovski will be in the main event of UFC Fight Night 87 on Sunday in Rotterdam, Netherlands as he will meet Alistair Overeem.
Both fighters train at Jackson Wink MMA Academy in New Mexico and Arlovski was a guest on last night’s edition of UFC Tonight to preview his fight on Sunday. During his appearance on the weekly UFC program, Arlovski explained that the two fighters do not have a relationship even though they train at the same gym.
“No relationship. We don’t have a relationship,” Arlovski stated. “We sparred two times. The first time a couple years ago when he came to Jackson Wink and second time before his fight with JDS because Greg Jackson asked me. When I sparred with him, I noticed he has great knees, very dangerous knees elbow and feet. This is going to help me with this upcoming match against him.”
