Team Alpha Male bantamweight Cody Garbrandt scored the biggest victory over his young career last weekend in Las Vegas as he defeated Thomas Almeida by knockout in the main event of UFC Fight Night 88.
Garbrandt (9-0) made his UFC debut last year and has gone 4-0 in the promotion. Three of his four wins in the UFC have come by TKO/KO and is currently ranked as the number seven challenger in the UFC bantamweight rankings.
Last night at UFC 199 in Southern California, Garbrandt was in attendance to support his teammate Urijah Faber and ended up doing a scrum with the attending media. He talked about his recent win over Almeida, Dominick Cruz, Bryan Caraway, Team Alpha Male and T.J. Dillashaw.
