A recently reported women’s bantamweight bout for September’s UFC 203 is Cleveland, Ohio is now official as Jessica Eye will meet former UFC title challenger Bethe Correia.
The fight booking was made official on Friday.
UFC 203 will come from the Quicken Loans Arena on September 10 and will be headlined by a title fight as Stipe Miocic defends the UFC heavyweight title against Alistair Overeem.
Eye (11-5, 1NC) is currently on a three fight losing streak and has gone 1-4, 1NC in the UFC. Her most recent defeat came in May as he lost a decision against Sara McMann at UFC Fight Night 88. Correia (9-2) has dropped back to back fights and is coming off a split decision lost against Raquel Pennington at UFC on FOX 19. She is 3-2 in the UFC and two of those three wins have come by decision.
