Jonathan Pearce talks about training at the MMA Lab prior to his fight tomorrow at Valor Fights 35

Featherweight Jonathan Pearce will be looking to remain undefeated tomorrow night in the main event of Valor Fights 35 as he will face Lance Lawrence on the fight card coming from the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tennessee.

Pearce (4-0) has won three of his four fights by stoppage and is coming off a second round stoppage win against Nick Martino at APEX Fights 10 in March. Prior to the fight against Martino, he told The MMA Report that he planned to travel following that fight to train at other gyms and he stated on Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” that he ended up going to the MMA Lab in Arizona.

“Yeah, I went out to Fight Lab in Arizona. Home to Benson Henderson, Bruce Lee Roy, all of those people,” Pearce stated on The MMA Report Podcast about training in Arizona prior to his fight tomorrow night at Valor Fights 35. “Reached out to Scott ‘Hotsauce’ Holtzman and he helped me get down there. Touched base and I plan on going back.”

“It’s a day drive from California,” he continued. “Where is MMA at? Where did MMA get started? That is where you need to be. It’s one the west coast. I get so many different looks when I go in there. Look at Bruce Lee Roy, the karate kid. Nobody has a style like that. Then you have Hotsauce, Benson and all of these different people here. They are all so friendly. I am just blessed to be able to go down there and do that. And continue to be able to do that.”
