Phil Hawes replaces Shamil Gamzatov, meets Louis Taylor at WSOF 32

Louis Taylor has a new opponent for World Series of Fighting 32 as Shamil Gamzatov has pulled out of the event due to personal issues and stepping up to meet Taylor on the July 30 fight card in Washington state will be undefeated prospect Phil Hawes.

The fight changed was announced by the World Series of Fighting in a press release on Wednesday.

“We hope to see Shamil back in action soon, and we salute Phil Hawes for having the courage and willpower to return to action less than two months after his first fight with us,” said World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo.

World Series of Fighting 32 will come from the XFINITY Arena in Everett, Washington on July 30 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Marlon Moraes will defend the WSOF bantamweight title against Josh Hill.
