I really don’t agree with the Scott Coker statement of saying IT JUST SHOWS THAT MVP CAN FIGHT ANYONE , ANYWHERE, I think we all know that is the spin cycle of being Bellator’s President. Next, Bellator should do more shows in England, but it was a swing and a miss on putting on fights to have the English fans feeling good throughput the night. It was a introductory night, so don’t match up Paul Daley against Douglas Lima, don’t matchup Oli Thompson against Matt Mitrione, I know the card was changed because of the death of Kimbo Slice, and the pulling out of Josh Koscheck, and Linton Vassell, but a good business move would have been to give matchups that were not really squash matches, but favorable matchups for the British fighters to make the crowd want to come back for more. Good show for the most part. I just hated the Evangelista Santos versus MVP matchup from the start. Evangelista Santos was coming off of a loss to Saad Awaad, which Santos took 62 unanswered strikes in a row, so there was no reason to put Evangelista Santos in a matchup with MVP.
