A lightweight bout has been booked for next month’s UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver as Ultimate Fighter Nations welterweight winner Chad Laprise will meet Thibault Gouti.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC following a report from TSN.
UFC on FOX 21 will come from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and more details on the event will be released in the coming weeks by the UFC.
Laprise (10-2) enters this fight with back to back defeats and is coming off a split decision defeat against Ross Pearson. He is 3-2 in the UFC and his last win came in April of 2015 against Bryan Barberena at UFC 186. Gouti (11-2) has also lost back to back fights and his most recent defeat came last month against Olivier Aubin-Mercier. Prior to entering the UFC, he had won nine of his eleven fights by stoppage and six of those wins came by submission.
