Former Titan FC featherweight champion Desmond Green will return to the promotion next month at Titan FC 40 as he will meet Frank Carrillo in a lightweight bout on the card coming from the BankUnited Center in Coral Cables, Florida.
Green (17-5) has won back to back fights since exiting Titan FC following his lost to current Titan FC featherweight champion Andre Harrison and he enters this fight following a decision win last month against Desmond Hill at FFC 24.
During Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Green was a guest on the podcast to preview his upcoming lightweight fight at Titan FC 40 and along with previewing his fight, Green talked about what he has learned from Blackzilians grappling coach Neil Melanson.
“He really stresses dominate positions. So that is something I have gotten from him,” Green said. “Just working to always have dominate positions and being able to strike. He is always about striking when you are on top. Not just being on top to lay. I have really been trying to put that into my game.”
