Lorenz Larkin replaces Dong Hyun Kim, meets Neil Magny at UFC 202

Dong Hyun Kim pulled out of his scheduled welterweight bout at UFC 202 against Neil Magny yesterday due to undisclosed reasons and stepping up to face Magny next month in Las Vegas will be Lorenz Larkin.

The fight change was reported by the LA Times on Wednesday and Larkin confirmed the matchup on his Instagram account.

UFC 202 will come from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 20 and will be headlined by a rematch in the welterweight division as Nate Diaz meets current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

Larkin (17-5, 1NC) has won three of his last four fights and enters this fight following a split decision win against Jorge Masvidal in May at UFC Fight Night 88. Magny (18-4) is currently on a three fight winning streak and is coming off a TKO win in March against Hector Lombard.
