A women’s strawweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night 93 on September 3 in Germany as former Invicta atomweight champion Michelle Waterson will meet Ultimate Fighter 20 alum Aisling Daly.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday morning.
UFC Fight Night 93 will come from the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany on September 3 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Andrei Arlovski meets Josh Barnett.
Waterson (13-4) won her UFC debut last year as she defeated Angela Magana by submission at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. She has won seven of her last eight fights and six of those wins have come by stoppage. Daly (16-6) has won two of her three fights in the UFC and is coming off a decision win against Ericka Almeida at UFC Fight Night 76 last year. Thirteen of her sixteen wins have come by stoppage and eight of those victories are by submission.
