Ratings Report: Bellator 158 averages 556,000 viewers

Bellator 158 took place on Saturday at the O2 Arena and the event was headlined by former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima securing a rematch against current welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov with a decision victory over Paul Daley.

According to Nielson sources, Bellator 158’s preliminary average viewership landed at 556,000 viewers and the average viewership for Bellator in 2016 in the preliminary ratings is 748,000.

Bellator 158 was the second time this year that the event aired on tape delay since it was an international show. The previous international show, Bellator 152 in April delivered 580,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings and this is the fourth time in 2016 that the average viewership for a Bellator show has been under 600,000 viewers.

When it came to the competition on cable, the night was won by Straight Outta Compton on HBO with 1.7 million viewers. Other top cable programs on Saturday included One-Punch Man (Adult Swim, 1.2 million), House Hunters Renovation (Home and Garden TV, 1.6 million) and Cops (Spike, 1 million).
