The next Unified MMA event will take place on September 30 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and the fight card will feature three title fights including Tanner Boser defending the heavyweight title against an opponent to be determined.

Along with the heavyweight title fight, the vacant light heavyweight and featherweight titles will be on the line as Parwez Ghulam meets Curtis DeMarce for the featherweight title and Nick Campbell faces Denny Houle for the light heavyweight title.

Boser (9-2) claimed the heavyweight title last month at Unified MMA 27 as he defeated Tony Lopez by unanimous decision. He has won four of his last five fights and three of those four wins have come by stoppage. His opponent at Unified MMA 28 on September 30 is expected to be announced shortly by the promotion.

Ghulam (6-2) is coming off a win against Bruno marques at Unified MMA 25 late last year and he has won five of his last six fights. All of his victories have come by stoppage and four of them have come by submission. DeMarce (16-12) has won back to back fights and is coming off a split decision win in March at Unified MMA 26 against Matthew Spisak. Eleven of his sixteen wins have come by finish and seven of those victories are by submission.

Campbell (9-7) has won four of his last six fights and enters this fight with back to back victories. His most recent win came in May at Saturday Night Fights 11 as he defeated Devon Smith by TKO. Houle (5-0) made his pro debut in 2010 and four of his five victories have come by TKO/KO. This will be his first fight since 2014, which was a TKO win against Dan Amyotte.
