Tyron Woodley explains why he is a better fighter than Robbie Lawler

The main event of Saturday’s UFC 201 in Atlanta, Georgia will be a title fight as Tyron Woodley will look to become the UFC welterweight champion when he meets champion Robbie Lawler on the fight card coming from the Phillips Arena.

Woodley (15-3) enters this fight with back to back victories and this will be his first fight since the beginning of 2015, which was a split decision win against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 183. When he steps into the octagon on Saturday, he will be the betting underdog but he explained on last night’s edition of “UFC Tonight” why he is a better fighter than his opponent.

“He might be red hot, but I’m ice cold. I’m a better fighter, better grappler, better wrestler, I’m a cleaner striker, I’m faster, I’m just as strong and I have just as much power,” Woodley explains. “If you think of skill sets, they are skills. Toughness isn’t a skill set. I have the toughness, the heart, a better skill set and in my mind, I’m a better fighter.”
