Albert Morales replaces Manny Gamburyan at UFC Fight Night 94 against Alejandro Perez

Manny Gamburyan is out of next month’s UFC Fight Night 94 due to undisclosed reasons and stepping up to face Alejandro Perez on the fight card will be Albert Morales.

The fight change was recently announced by the UFC and Gamburyan tweeted on Thursday that he did not pull out of the fight due to injury.

UFC Fight Night 94 will come from the State Farm Arena on September 17 and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Dustin Poirier meets Michael Johnson.

Morales (6-0) was recently signed by the UFC and this will be his promotional debut. Five of his six career victories have come by stoppage and he is coming off a knockout victory at RFA 38 against Mario Israel. Perez (17-6) has won three of his four fights in the UFC and won The Ultimate Fighter Latin America bantamweight tournament in 2014. He is coming off a TKO win against Ian Entwistle in April and four of his last five wins have come by stoppage.
