A featherweight bout has been booked for October’s UFC Fight Night 97 in the Philippines as Cole Miller will meet Mizuto Hiroto.
The fight booking was recently announced by the UFC and the promotion also announced a women’s strawweight bout between Seo Hee Ham and Danielle Taylor.
UFC Fight Night 97 will come from the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on October 15 and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Ricardo Lamas meets B.J. Penn.
Miller (21-10, 1NC) is coming off a decision defeat in June against Alex Caceres and he is 0-2, 1NC in his last three fights. His last win came in the beginning of 2014 as he defeated Sam Sicilia by submission at UFC Fight Night 35. Hirota (17-7-2) returned to the UFC last year and fought to a split draw against Teruto Ishihara at UFC Fight Night 75. Prior to returning to the promotion, he had won three in a row and two of those victories came by TKO.
