Tanner Saraceno on biggest lesson he has learned in MMA: Treat every opponent as dangerous

Tonight’s Valor Fights 36 card will see Tanner Saraceno looking for his second professional victory as he will meet Travis Conner on the fight card coming from the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Saraceno (1-1) is coming off a stoppage win against Eric Thomas at USFCC 27 in June and while he is young in his mixed martial arts career, Saraceno explained on Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” that he has already learned one major lesson in the sport.

“I guess it would be to treat every opponent as dangerous,” Saraceno said. “There is definitely certain things you may let happen because you know like let yourself get taken down. Maybe trying something like going for a guillotine where you knew 100 percent you can stop the shot. But you think, what is the harm going down and always getting back up. So I guess being in charge the whole time and not letting things happen more so than making things happen definitely is the biggest lesson I’ve learned.”
