The absolute best approach to take for both Rory MacDonald and for Bellator. It isn’t a race, so there is no reason to rush Rory MacDonald into the Bellator cage. For Bellator, Rory MacDonald is an investment, so it is a great decision to let him take care of his broken nose issue and get himself fully healed. And in the meantime, let the likes of Champion Andrey Koreshkov, and Douglas Lima, and Paul Daley, and Michael Venom Page, and Fernando Gonzalez, and Chidi Njokuani, and Brennan Ward entertain the Bellator fans in the welterweight division. Great decision. Also, for people saying Rory MacDonald can’t sell a fight, I don’t get that logic. There are only so many Muhammad Ali’s and Connor McGregor’s, those type of people just don’t come along that often. We don’t asked the NFL players to sell their games, and we don’t asked Tennis players to sell their matches, it is the promotion’s job to sell their product.
