A welterweight bout has been added to November’s UFC Fight Night 98 in Mexico City as Erick Montano will meet Max Griffin on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday
UFC Fight Night 98 will come from the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City on November 5 and will be headlined by former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos facing Ultimate Fighter 13 winner Tony Ferguson.
Montano (7-4) is coming off a submission defeat at UFC Fight Night 94 against Randy Brown and the defeat snapped a three fight winning streak. Griffin (12-3) lost his UFC debut last month against Colby Covington at UFC 202 and he is 2-2 in his last four fights.
