The first title in Odyssey Fights history will take place on Saturday night as JD Domengeaux will meet Portland Pringle for the welterweight title on the fight card coming from the Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington, Virginia.
Domengeaux (10-2) is currently on an eight fight winning streak and is coming off a submission win in July at Fire and Ice Championships 3 against Drew Lipton. Just like Domengeaux, Pringle enters this fight following a submission win and Domengeaux talked about his opponent during this past Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast.”
“He has been around. He is a good fighter. I don’t know too much about him,” Domengeaux said. “He has beaten some good guys and he has fought nothing but tough guys. He is definitely a good challenge.”
