Ratings Report: UFC Fight Night 94 peaked at 905,000 viewers

UFC Fight Night 94 took place this past Saturday night at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas and was headlined by Michael Johnson snapping a two fight losing streak with a knockout victory against Dustin Poirier in the first round.

According to Nielson sources, the preliminary card broadcast on FS1 (8:15p-10p ET) drew 637,000 viewers and this is a 31 percent increase over the most recent September FS1 Fight Night preliminary card (485,000 on 9/5/14). Following the conclusion of the preliminary card, the main card on FS1 (10p-12:42a ET) came in with 826,000 viewers and peaked at 905,000 viewers in the 11:30-11:45 p.m ET quarter hour.

When it came to the sports competition on Saturday night, the UFC fight card went up against college football games on FOX, ABC, NBC and ESPN. The most-viewed college game on Saturday night was the matchup between Ohio State and Oklahoma on FOX (3.4/7 and 5,804,000 viewers). Michigan State vs. Notre Dame on NBC came in second (2.9/6 and 4,987,000 viewers) and USC vs. Stanford on ABC came in third (1.8/4 (2,877,000).
