The official UFC Fight Night 96 weigh-ins took place on Friday morning in Portland, Oregon and three fighters on the card missed weight including main event fighter John Lineker.
Today’s official weigh-in event took place at the fighter hotel and the ceremonial weigh-ins will take place later today at the Moda Center at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Lineker missed weight by a half pound for his scheduled bantamweight bout against John Dodson, who made weight at 135 pounds. The fight will remain on the card as a catchweight bout and Lineker will be fined 20 percent of his purse for missing weight.
Also missing weight on Friday morning in Portland was Alex Oliveira and Hacran Dias. Oliveria missed weight by 5.5 pounds for his scheduled lightweight bout against Will Brooks and Dias came in 2.5 pounds over for his scheduled featherweight bout against Andre Fili. Just like Lineker, Oliveria and Dias will be fined 20 percent of their purse and their fights will go forward as catchweight bouts.
