The co-main event of Friday’s RFA 44 in St. Charles, Missouri will be a flyweight bout as Ken Porter will step into the cage for the first time in thirteen months when he meets Nick Urso on the fight card coming from the St. Charles Convention Center.

Porter (9-2, 1NC) enters this fight on a five fight winning streak and three of those victories have come by submission in the opening round. His last fight took place at RFA 28 last year and he defeated Matt Manzanares by split decision on that fight card.

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to talk with Porter about his fight coming up on Friday night and he explained the positives he took out of being on the sidelines for the last year.
