With third pro fight set for tomorrow, Cort Wahle explains lesson he learned in defeat earlier this year

The third professional fight for Cort Wahle will take place tomorrow night in St. Louis at Shamrock FC 275 he will meet Seth Basler on the fight card coming from the River City Casino.

Wahle (1-1) made his professional debut at the beginning of the year and scored a decision victory at Shamrock FC: Blitzkrieg against Garrett Mueller. He enters this fight following a submission defeat in June at Shamrock FC: Explosion against Scott Ettling and he explained to The MMA Report that arrogance got to him in his last fight.

“What got the best of me was definitely myself,” Wahle explained. “I had arrogance get to me again and it was the one thing that I strayed away from that I need to stop. I let it take over again. I was having guys tell me that I would walk right through him. All the eyes were on me. They train with me and know where I am going in this sport. And it just got in my head that it was not a big deal. I even tried to fight him at his own game and obviously it did not end up working. I was winning and I got caught. Right then and there. I was like Cort. You know what you did. You messed up. You deserve this.”
