A knee injury has forced Josh Copeland to pull out of his WSOF 34 heavyweight bout against former WSOF champion Smealinho Rama and stepping up to face Rama on the November 12 fight card in Colorado will be Kevin Sears.
WSOF officials announced the change on Monday.
WSOF 34 will come from the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado and will be headlined by a title fight as Jon Fitch will defend the welterweight title against Jake Shields.
Sears (4-2) has won all of his fights by stoppage and is coming a TKO victory against Jon Hill at Rage in the Cage 47 in August. Rama (9-2) recently signed a new multi-fight deal with the promotion and this will be his first fight since losing the WSOF title to Ivanov in 2015.
