The main event of today’s Bellator 164 in Israel will be a title fight rematch as former Bellator champion Douglas Lima will look to reclaim the Bellator welterweight title when he meets champion Andrey Koreshkov.
Lima (27-6) lost the Bellator welterweight title to Koreshkov last year at Bellator 140 and after being on the sidelines for nearly one year, Lima returned at Bellator 158 in July and defeated Paul Daley by unanimous decision in the main event of that fight card.
On Wednesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Lima was a guest on the podcast to preview his rematch against Koreshkov today at Bellator 164 and explained what advantages he has heading into this rematch.
