UFC Fight Night 98 isn’t under the radar at all. A lot of ppl are talking about it. Bellator 163 is really under the radar. IMO Bellator 163 is a better fight card than FN 98. Or at least I’m looking forward to it more.

Ronda has been ducking Cyborg since their Strikeforce days. UFC should either make a 145 women’s division for Cyborg. Or let her go to Bellator where she can fight at her weight class.

What are your top 3 fights for this weekend?

    My top 5 UFC PPV’s of all time are: UFC 205, 200, 189, 166, 207. Hbu?

My 5 fight NYC Bellator main card: Fedor vs Mitrione, Chandler vs Thomson, Daley vs Honeycutt, Lashley vs Kongo, King Mo vs Alessio Sakara. Hbu?

The preview podcast for this weekend’s UFC and Bellator cards was just posted. During the podcast, I explain which main card I like better this weekend.

I have said this numerous times, I am not sure what Bellator is doing at women’s featherweight. For me, I do not feel they are developing a division. It’s just one-off fights. I feel they are more committed to developing a women’s flyweight division than they are a women’s featherweight division. Here is why Zuffa is not going to release Cyborg to allow her to go somewhere else: She has proven to be a fighter that can draw viewers to either Fight Pass, FS1 or pay-per-view.

When it comes to my top three fights, I essentially answer this question on the preview podcast. I outline my top two fights, which are the main events of both events. Yes, you will have to listen to the preview podcast to see which fight I have as number one. My number three fight of the weekend would be Ricardo Lamas vs. Charles Oliveira.

On your five Bellator NYC cards, I do not see Daley vs. Honeycutt and King Mo vs. Sakara as options. Honeycutt appears to be done at welterweight (tough weight cut) and Mo/Sakara are teammates at American Top Team in Coconut Creek. I know that Thomson is targeting a return in February and we will have to see what happen in two weeks between Chandler and Henderson. If McGeary beats Davis tomorrow night, I think McGeary should be on a NYC card.

I asked these ?’s before you posted the preview shows. I’m listening to the preview shows right now.

How close is Fedor vs Mitrione to being official? I saw sites say multiple sources confirmed the fight. Is that just rumors?

Talitia missed weight by 5.6 pounds. And they canceled the fight. They could’ve made it a catch weight fight at 150 lbs. Did Marloes say she won’t fight her unless she makes weight? This is the 2nd time her opponent missed weight. On back to back fights. Maybe she had enough and said she won’t fight someone that doesn’t make weight anymore.

When it comes to a fighter missing weight and whether the fight will move forward as a catchweight, there are 2 things to remember.

      1) The commission and the commission doctors would have to clear the fighter and say they are medically fit to compete.
      2) The other fighter (in this case Coenen) would have to accept a catchweight bout and come to an agreement on compensation for opponent missing weight.

At this time, I do not know this particular situation since I am working a football broadcast tonight.

Nm she missed weight by 20 lbs. cut 15 lbs and was still over weight by 5.6.

I knew something would happen to this Bellator 163 card. Damn.. Now the Fight Night 98 card is way better than Bellator 163.
