The inaugural LFA show will take place on January 13 and the main card on AXS TV will feature the return of undefeated bantamweight Eli “The Tomahawk” Tamez as he will meet Ulyses Aguila on the fight card coming from the Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.
Tamez (9-0) has been on the sidelines since his split decision victory over Saul Elizondo at Legacy Fighting Championship 38 and this will be his first fight in 23 months. The win over Elizondo was his fourth straight victory by decision and his last stoppage victory came in 2012.
During last week’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Tamez was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight against Aguila at LFA 1 on January 13.
