The co-main event of tonight’s Victory FC 54 will be a vacant featherweight title fight as former Victory FC featherweight champion Ryan Roberts will meet current Victory FC bantamweight champion Rob Emerson on the fight card coming from the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
Tonight will mark the first fight for Roberts (21-11-1) in 448 days as he is coming off a decision lost against Adam Townsend at RFA 30. That defeat snapped a five fight winning streak and three of those victories were Victory FC featherweight title defenses.
During yesterday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Roberts was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight tonight against Emerson for the vacant featherweight title at Victory FC 54.
