Garrett Gross explains why moving back to Illinois is a good move for him

The co-main event of tonight’s Shamrock FC 282 will be a lightweight bout as Garrett Gross will look for his second straight victory when he meets Deron Carlis on the fight card coming from the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City.

Gross (8-5) enters this fight card following a submission victory last year at Shamrock FC: Explosion against Malcolm Smith and is 4-2 in his last six fights. Three of his last four victories have come by stoppage and his victory over Smith came with one second left in the opening round.

During this week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Gross was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight tonight against Carlis and why he feels moving back to his home state of Illinois is a good move for him.
