The co-main event of next week’s Victory FC 56 will be a title fight as Kassius Holdorf will defend the welterweight title against Yuri Villefort on the fight card coming from the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
Holdorf (10-3) was originally scheduled to fight Villefort last year at Victory FC 52, but Holdorf was moved to the main event to face Maki Pitolo. On that night, Holdorf lost a decision and ended up getting a rematch against Pitolo at Victory FC 54 in December and scored a stoppage victory to claim the Victory FC welterweight title.
During last week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Holdorf was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight set for next week against Villefort at Victory FC 56.
