Video: Albert Morales on mentality of taking short notice fight and working with new strength and conditioning coach

UFC Fight Night 113 will take place on Sunday and the featured preliminary bout on UFC Fight Pass will be a bantamweight bout as Albert Morales steps up on short notice to meet Brett Johns on the fight card coming from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

Morales (7-1-1) is coming off a split decision win against Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 209 in March and he has gone 1-1-1 in the UFC. Prior to entering the UFC last year, five of his six wins came by stoppage and three of those wins came in the opening round.

During last week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Morales was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight on Sunday at UFC Fight Night 113 against Johns and explained his mentality on taking a short notice fight.
