Undefeated prospect Jordan Young returns at Bellator 185, meets Alec Hooben in catchweight bout of 195 pounds

Bellator will be returning to the Mohegan Sun Arena next month and the preliminary card will feature rising middleweight prospect Jordan Young as he will look to remain undefeated when he meets Alec Hooben in a catchweight bout of 195 pounds.

The fight booking was reported earlier by MMA Today and a Bellator official confirmed the fight booking today to The MMA Report.

Bellator 185 will take place on Friday, October 20 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and will be headlined by the promotional debut of Gegard Mousasi as he will will face former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko.

Young (7-0) was signed by Bellator at the beginning of the year and has gone 2-0 in the promotion. After winning his promotional debut at Bellator 171 by unanimous decision against Chris Harris, he returned at Bellator 178 in April and defeated Tim Caron by submission in the opening round. Hooben (5-3) will be making his Bellator debut in this matchup and enters this fight following a TKO defeat against Mike Rodriguez at CES MMA 44. The defeat snapped a three fight winning streak and three of his five wins have come by submission.
