Iron Boy MMA 9 will take place on Saturday in Arizona and the main event will be a middleweight bout as Daniel Madrid returns to competition for the first time in 20 months as he will meet Eddie Arizmendi.
Madrid (13-4) is riding a six fight winning streak and his last win came at KOTC: Night of Champions in March of last year. On that night, he scored a submission victory in the opening round against Daniel Hernandez to retain the KOTC middleweight title.
During last week’s podcast, Madrid was a guest on the show to preview his fight against Arizmendi and discussed returning to competition for the first time in 20 months.
