Along with announcing that fight, the UFC also announced that Ultimate Fighter Brazil winner Rony Jason will take on Sam Sicila and Sergio Moraes will go against Renee Forte.

UFC 153 takes place on October 13th from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending his featherweight title against Erik Kock. The fight card will also see Quinton “Rampage” Jackson have his last fight in the UFC against Glover Teixiera.

Belcher (18-6) is currently on a four fight winning streak and is coming off a submission victory over Rouismar Palhares at UFC on FOX 3. Over the past couple of days, he has been telling his fans on Twitter to let the UFC know that they wanted to see him take on Belfort.

Belfort (21-9) wanted to take on Chris Weidman at UFC 153, but he wrote on Twitter last night that he would agree to take on Belcher. Since losing to Anderson Silva early 2011, he has won two straight fights with both wins ending by stoppage.

Jason (11-3) won the featherweight title in “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” at UFC 147 last month and he plans to show a better performance this time. “I hope I can please the crowd on the 13th, that is a very special day for me,” said Jason. “At the next UFC Rio, you will see Jason the striker and finisher.” Both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout. Sicilia (11-1) is also an alum of “The Ultimate Fighter” and had a successful debut in June at the finale. He defeated Cristiano Marcello by knockout and it was his six career win by knockout.
